Read MoreWe’re a group of generous folks in the Lakeland/Central Florida area that aim to pass blessings and generosity to our community and we encourage others to join us.
Our goal is to have 10 to 15 people meet for lunch and leave a tip of over $1,000.
We do not seek any personal recognition. We give generously and then go our ways.
Want to join us? Simply text “Lunch” to (863) 285-3140 or fill out this form and we will be in touch.
Come eat lunch with us! Fill out this form and we will add you to our notification list for future lunches:
The restaurants are selected by the following criteria:
The idea behind The Lunch Bunch is that it is $100 per person. We encourage couples to experience the joy of gratitude and being generous together, but you will need to bring $100 each.
Yes. Well behaved children are welcome and will be loved on by all that attend, but the $100 per person rule still applies.
Kinda sorta, but not really. Order anything you would like, but keep in mind the idea behind this whole thing is to give our server as big of a tip as possible.
The only two hard rules that we have are:
No. We’re not an organization of any sort. Just a group of people that live in the Lakeland & greater Central Florida area that want to show gratitude and experience the joy of giving back to those in our community.
No! Not at all. Every time we go to lunch we post a full accountability report of how many people were present and how many people decided to donate but were not present.
If you would like to donate, be sure to reply to either the email or the text message you are sent with the date of the next lunch, and the lunch host will give you a call to collect your donation and you will see it on the accountability report.
Yes. if you would like to sponsor a lunch, here is how it works and the rules associated with it:
Yes! We highly encourage that you do! In fact, we were inspired by a similar group in Michigan called Generosity Lunch. They helped us and we are more than happy to help you. This isn’t about who gets credit, it’s about spreading the spirit of generosity and encouraging others to do the same.
No. The two individuals that decided to bring this concept to life in Central Florida are both Christians, but this is not a ministry. You are welcome to participate regardless of your beliefs, and we do not have a group prayer or anything of the sort.
With that said, if you are a person of faith, regardless of which faith it is, and would like to pray or meditate before your meal, we encourage you to do so before you enter the location. We also respectfully ask that you treat others with Grace and respect their individual beliefs.
This is all about being generous and brightening someone’s day. Let’s leave religion and judgement out of it.
